After Hours Emergency Care

Hope Animal Medical Center is open from 7:30 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday and from 8 am - 1 pm on Saturdays.  If your pet is sick and needs immediate attention outside of those hours, please call the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine at 706-542-3221. Open weeknights, weekends, and holidays to provide around-the-clock emergency veterinary care during these times. Appointments are not required but a telephone call is appreciated in order to anticipate your pet's needs. They are located on Carlton Street on the campus of the University of Georgia.
