Matthew Everett, DVM
Resident in Veterinary Clinical Nutrition

​Dr. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and completed a one-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery all with The University of Tennessee. He also has experience in general practice, urgent care, and emergency care. He has an interest in all things nutrition including small animal, avian, and exotics and is currently working towards becoming boarded by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine as a veterinary nutritionist. His wife is also a veterinarian and teaches at The University of Georgia’s Pet Health Center. Matthew and Ellen share their lives with a Labrador retriever, English Springer Spaniel, an orange tabby, spotted saddle horse, and welcomed their first child in June 2023.
